Job description

We are currently working in partnership with Local Authority based in the Midlands, who are recruiting for a Criminal Litigation Lawyer on a three-month locum basis.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, and hourly rate is negotiable dependent on candidate experience and PQE.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling a varied caseload of Criminal Litigation matters and Prosecutions on behalf of the Council
  • Advising in respect of selective and additional licensing schemes and enforcement work
  • Conducting advocacy as required in relation to cases involving trading standards, environmental health and licensing matters

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
