Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a London Borough, who are recruiting for a Contracts Lawyer on a temporary six-month locum contract.

The position is due to start as soon as possible, with interviews w/c 29th July. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable dependent upon experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ of contracts & procurement experience working in the public sector, preferably in a Local Government setting.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing legal advice to client teams across the council on a diverse range of procurement, contract and governance matters
  • This would include project work on: collaborative procurement, joint ventures, council owned companies, frameworks, dynamic purchasing systems and construction projects

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
