Job description

Our client, based in West Lancashire, is currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for the role is £44,428 per year, and includes a range of benefits including a generous pension package, flexible and hybrid working hours and a mileage rate for any patch work required.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with a Social Housing setting, overseeing the performance of Compliance Officers and have the drive to shape this newly created role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a team of Compliance Officers covering all area of M&E and Customer Liaison Officers to drive tenant engagement

  • Ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, across a Housing Stock of 6,000 properties

  • Leading on the development of robust procurement and contract management to achieve value for money

  • Ensuring all works are being carried out in line with CDM Regulations and other relevant Health and Safety legislation

  • Overseeing the performance of both internal and external contractors, through the analysis of KPI’s

  • Providing regular reports to senior management in regards to performance and development

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing

  • Compliance experience across a Social Housing setting

  • Ability to manage a team

  • 36 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 7am/10am-3pm/7pm
