We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority client, who are recruiting for a locum Commercial Lawyer to join the team for 22.5-hours per week, on an initial 6-month contract.

The ideal candidate will previous Local Authority experience, including knowledge of subsidy control.

The rate is in the region of £50-55 p/hour UMB, and the role falls inside of IR35.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing legal advice to the client group in regards to commercial contracts, procurement and subsidy control

• Drafting and negotiating a range of contracts and agreements, including contracts for goods and services, works contracts including JCT/NEC, framework agreements, grant agreements and shared services agreements

Working hours:

• 22.5 hours per week
