Job description

We are currently partnering with one of the UK’s leading housing associations and developers, who are recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their growing team on a 12 month FTC.

This will be a full-time (35 hours) position, with hybrid working (3/4 days home working per week) and a salary of £27,000.

The ideal candidate will have a background managing an Accounts Receivables function within Social Housing.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Raising all accounts receivable invoices for the group

  • Managing and resolving all incoming queries

  • Generating monthly direct debit reports and reconciling customer accounts

  • Setting up new customer accounts and ensuring all necessary information is recorded

  • Collection of AR direct debits by generating report at month-end

  • Attending regular meetings with colleagues from other departments to reconcile and raise customer invoices

Experience required:

  • Previous experience within the Accounts Receivable function (minimum 2 years)

  • Experience with Open Accounts is preferred but not essential

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy

  • Must be detail conscious, accurate and diligent.

  • Organisation & planning skills: Must be organised to deal with workload and meet deadlines

Working hours:
