Job description

We are currently partnering with a public sector organisation based in Wiltshire, who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their growing team on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time, 2-month position with an hourly rate of £14-£18 PAYE. The start date for the role is January 13th 2025.

Interviews will be taking place before breaking up for Christmas.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Working through a backlog of manual 400 invoices and 1,500 failed EDI invoices
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and GRNs
  • Experience required:

    • A minimum of three years accounts payable experience is essential

    Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

    • Successful candidate must have high accuracy when inputting invoices
      Ability to hit the ground running and fast learner

    Rewards and Benefits:

    • 37.5 hours per week
