​We are currently working with a Prep School based in West London, who are looking to bring in a part-time Accounts Administrator on a permanent basis

The role is 24 hours per week across three days and requires the successful candidate to be onsite every day during term time, however flexibility will be offered during non-term time

The salary on offer is £25,000 per annum, plus generous benefits (please note this salary is reflective of 24 hours per week)

Our client is looking for candidates with experience working within the Finance sector for at least two years’, including raising and processing invoices, and preparation of Year End

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Processing and paying a high volume of invoices, with values ranging from £500 to £5,000 per invoice

  • Raising and chasing invoices for student fees on a termly basis, with values of between £4,000 to £4,500

  • Preparing the monthly cash flow for the proprietor

  • Making payments to the organisations two main bank accounts and checking that payments are received in a timely manner

  • Matching and reconciling all receipts for the month against the bank statement and locating missing receipts

  • Providing information to the outsourced payroll team, ensuring precise attention to detail

  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements of TPS, dealing with queries when required

Experience required:

  • Two years’ experience working in the Finance Sector

  • Assisting with Year End preparation

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Able to work autonomously and within a team

  • Able to maintain positive relationships with staff and parents

  • Desirable experience of Excel at an intermediate level

  • Good IT skills and able to learn new systems efficiently

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent eye for detail

Working hours:
