Job description
Our client, based in Warwickshire, is currently recruiting for an Accommodation Co-ordinator on a two-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable up to £20.30 per hour via an umbrella company based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients who have complex needs, hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years and also have access to their own vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Providing attentive housing support and advice to a group of 7-8 key clients with complex needs - including mental health and substance misuse
Conducting home visits in order to ensure tenant wellbeing
Completing property sign-ups and assisting with any ‘move on’ processes
Making tailored support and welfare plans to fit customer needs
Carrying out risk assessments, health and safety checks and monitoring safeguarding issues
Assisting individuals with application processes, including housing and benefit forms
Liaising with external agencies and signposting customers accordingly to provide additional support
Experience required:
Conducting risk assessments and health and safety checks
Working with various external organisations to provide extra support to service users
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Be able to create tailored support plans
Strong knowledge the sign-up system and ‘move on’ process

Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
