Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading North Somerset based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Surveying Project Manager to join their growing maintenance team on a permanent basis.

Our client is the proud provider of 6,500 affordable and sustainable properties to over 15,000 tenants and they are looking to expand their Asset Department.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £46,856.00 per annumand the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Identifying the root cause of Damp and Mould, providing specifications for remedial works moving forward

  • Surveying and Identifying building defects through, conducting the correct building pathology & testing

  • Completing detailed reports and specification writing, for example to support section 20 notices and Damp and Mould /disrepair claims

  • Project Managing to include preparation of plans, prebuild meeting construction phase oversight, maintaining value for money and budget control throughout the project

  • Carrying out post work quality inspections ensuring the works are too standard, fit for purpose and value for money

Requirements:

  • A qualification such as HNC/HND/BSC or a RIC’s accreditation course

  • A full driving license

  • Experience in Health and Safety/ Identifying of Asbestos

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
