Our client, based in London, is currently recruiting for a Support Worker on a 1-month rolling temporary contract, with the possibility of a further extension.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is either £18.45 PAYE or £21.65 UMB.

The ideal candidate will be an empathetic individual who has previous experience delivering exceptional levels of care to homeless clients.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing 1-2-1 support for clients who have previously experienced homelessness

• Working in a 28-day assessment centre

• Carrying out initial assessments on clients

• Creating risk assessments and support plans

• Carrying out weekly Health & Safety checks

• Ensuring safeguarding of homeless clients

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team

• Risk assessment and management

• Experience of supporting vulnerable people or groups

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Various shifts across 7 days
