Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a leading Supported Living Provider based in Swindon, who are recruiting for a Service Manager on a three-month temporary contract. The position is due to start as soon as possible, and the hourly rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in service management within a supported living setting, a strong understanding of safeguarding, and a track record of leading and motivating teams to deliver high-quality services for vulnerable young people.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Coordinating day-to-day delivery of young people's services across multiple sites in Swindon
Managing and supporting staff teams to ensure high performance and engagement
Promoting services through marketing, networking, and building external agency relationships
Overseeing support planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, and Ofsted compliance
Producing KPI reports and maintaining administrative systems
Championing best practices in Safeguarding
Managing service budgets and ensuring effective arrears recovery
Experience required:
Previous experience in a similar management role within supported housing or social care
Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices and Ofsted standards
Proven team leadership and service coordination skills
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Safeguarding and risk management
Financial management and budgeting
Performance reporting and compliance
