Job description
We are currently partnering with an East London based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Senior Technical Officer to join their growing team on a six-month temporary basis.
This is a temporary position with a day rate of up to £375 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice, with a RICS qualification desirable.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Lead and supervise local Technical Service Officers
- Provide operational leadership for the damp and mould strategy, optimizing efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
- Act as a visible leader in health, safety, and quality, managing team direction while mitigating functional and business risks
- Build and maintain an effective, motivated team for successful service delivery
- Monitor and influence operational performance across damp and mould works, ensuring effective repairs management
- Lead improvement plans when performance targets are not achieved
- Supervise the handling of complaints regarding damp and mould
- Co-develop policies, procedures, and service standards
- Ensure service aligns with corporate objectives, delivery plans, policies, and procedures

Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
