Job description

We are currently partnering with a reputable Social Housing Association based in Cheshire, who are recruiting for a Senior Surveyor and Stock Condition Surveyor to join their growing team on six month fixed-term contracts (FTC).

These are full-time positions with salaries of £48,470 per annum (Senior Surveyor) and £40,438 per annum (Stock Condition Surveyor).

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Senior Surveyor

  • Partnering with the Head of Development and Senior Asset Managers to deliver the organisations Asset Management programmes

  • Monitoring the KPI’s of contractors, to ensure that both Health and Safety regulations as well as value for money was being achieved

  • Carrying out both stock condition surveys as well as energy surveys across a stock of Social Housing properties

  • Ensuring an effective practise of tenant engagement and ensuring works are carried to agreed specifications

  • Assisting with the future proofing plans in regards to zero carbon modelling

Stock Condition Surveyor:

  • Carrying out both stock condition surveys as well as energy surveys across a stock of social housing properties

  • Undertaking appraisals of underperforming stock to improve to Asset Investment and Investment Planning

  • Overseeing tenants permission requests as well as complaints

  • Ensuring that all works are carried out in line with Health and Safety standards

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Reecent surveying experience within a Housing setting
