Our client, based in Middlesex, is currently recruiting for a Senior Rents Recovery Officer on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The successful candidate will have experience of supervising staff and being an expert in rents, and be willing to have a basic DBS taken out. They will also have access to their own vehicle

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Overseeing around 300 properties rent accounts, mostly general needs but some Universal Credit accounts
• Supporting a team of up to x6 Rent Recovery Officers and acting as industry expert for any queries or issues that arise
• Engaging with customers using multiple channels, including home visits or in-person appointments
• Representing the organisation in court

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working with customers within housing
• Supervising staff

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Income / Rent
• Chasing rent arrears
• Assisting clients with financial management and budgeting
• Rent Sense system

• 36 hours per week
• Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 17:15 and Friday 9:00 – 17:00
