Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy based in South East London, who are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £60,000 - £70,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Preparing budget estimates, cost planning, and manage tendering procedures

  • Formulating briefs, fee proposals, and present schemes or services

  • Preparing tender documents, assess and negotiate tenders 

  • Managing interim payments, final cost assessments, and contract variations

  • Attending project meetings, take minutes, and manage day-to-day project execution

  • Liaising with clients, present schemes, and manage project delivery

Experience required:

  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification (BSc (Hons) degree or similar in Building Surveying/ Quantity surveying/ Project Management) experience

  • MRICS or Associate membership of RICS or equivalent recognised qualification

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritise multiple projects and different stages of delivery

  • Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight targets

Working hours:

  • Monday – Friday

  • Choice of start and finish times based around a 7.25 hour working day, core hours between 10am-4.15pm
