Job description

We are proud to be partnering with a not-for-profit organisation, who are looking to appoint a Senior People Partner (Projects) on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This will be a full-time position based in Hertfordshire, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary of £65,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in delivering HR and organisational projects.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering key HR projects, for example ED&I initiatives, PRP

  • Assessing potential people-related risks and opportunities as part of any change programmes

  • Conducting a detailed analysis of organisational structures, compensation frameworks, HR policies, and workforce demographics

  • Ensuring all relevant HR policies, procedures and processes are reviewed, updated and harmonised to create a cohesive framework that aligns with organisational goals

  • Management of ER partner on case management and policy review work, with strong TUPE and organisational restructuring experience, in mergers and acquisitions

  • Leading and executing people projects and organisational restructuring initiatives

  • Delivering any key implementation plans post any growth decision making

  • Advising and coaching leaders on managing change and prepare colleagues to manage change

  • Facilitating collaboration across teams to promote alignment and engagement during projects

  • Using workforce data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform project priorities

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Expertise in employee relations processes, employment law compliance, and policy writing and implementation

  • Strong TUPE and organisational restructuring experience, in mergers and acquisitions

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR projects with broader business goals, ensuring a strong connection between people strategies and organisational priorities
