Our client, based in Stockport, is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Surveyor on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The client is offering a salary of up to £37,938 per year + a range of different benefits (See below!).

The ideal candidate will hold a HNC/HND qualifications, have experience liaising with solicitors and have diagnosed structural/disrepair issues in Social Housing properties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out surveys across a patch of Social Housing properties in order to diagnose any disrepair and structural issues
• Creating schedules of works following on from surveys in order for repairs to be completed
• Undertaking post surveys to monitor the progress of works being carried out and ensure external contractors are working to agreed specifications
• Obtaining necessary information in regards Stock Condition, Energy Efficiency, HHSRS, Legionella and Asbestos

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience with damp, mould and structural surveys
• Experience producing specifications of work, and carrying out post inspections
