Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a successful, growing provider of housing and complementary services across the Midlands. They’re expanding their Quality & Performance team and are recruiting for a Senior Compliance Officer (Quality & Performance) on a four month temporary contract.

Our client is happy to consider candidates on either four or five days per week, the role is fully home based the only travel that will be required is for occasional meetings. The rate is £30.00 per hour via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of Social Housing with a specific focus on customer feedback strategies, have wrote policy and strategies and ideally come from an audit background with the ability to analyse data effectively.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Working as part of the Quality & Performance team, managing a Compliance Officer who oversees and Compliance Administrator

  • Reviewing, developing and writing policies as well as developing and implementing a policy framework

  • Managing and conducting service quality audits

  • Developing and implementing a customer feedback strategy

  • Producing briefing notes, presentations, and research documents to inform and support discussions

  • Supporting the development of robust and timely consultation responses to consultations

  • Actively working with key stakeholders and colleagues to create an environment that promotes continuous service improvement and innovation

Experience required:

  • Ability to work with partners to deliver shared outcomes

  • Previous demonstratable experience of dealing with high levels of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy

  • Expertise in prioritising workloads and working under pressure to ensure that both deadlines are met, and high standards maintained

  • Proven experience of leading, managing and developing others through training and mentoring

Working hours:

  • 28/35 hours per week across either four or five days per week

  • Monday – Friday
