Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a nationwide g15 housing association, who are recruiting for the final Safe Neighbourhood (ASB) Officer in a brand new team in Southern England.
It is a full time, permanent role paying £37,000 per annum. They are looking for someone who can predominantly cover Surrey and Brighton, though you may be needed to cover other regions such as Hampshire when needed. However, this is a field based role, you can manage your own diary and there is no obligation to go into the office!
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Responsible for managing a caseload of around 30 ASB cases (low to high level)
Identifying and delivering ASB prevention projects to reduce ASB and keep customer/communities safe
Drafting witness statements and serving NTQs, NOSPs and other enforcement action
Preparing all paperwork required for cases prior to court attendance and subsequently attending court
Building strong working relationships with local authorities, Police etc. to help resolve issues
Providing a mediating service between individual neighbours
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Car user (they pay you a mileage rate on top of your salary)
Experienced in resolving ASB cases, up to and including court level
Up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation and procedures
