Job description

We are currently working in partnership with on of the largest resident management organisations in the South East of London, who are looking to appoint a Resident Services Officer on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position based in Central London, with hybrid working (1 day home working) and a salary of between £37,653 and £38,934 depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of providing exceptional housing management services to both leasehold and general needs tenants. Experience representing organisations in court would also be highly desirable.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a patch of 200 mixed tenure properties

  • Maintaining a presence as the main point of contact for all ASB needs

  • Providing all aspects of tenancy management including sign-ups and viewings

  • Ensuring the quick turnaround of void properties

  • Performing regular estate inspections

  • Providing specific leasehold advice around issues such as staircasing

  • Attending court to represent the organisation in matters of ASB

  • Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Good organizational and time management skills

    • A thourough knowledge of leasehold properties

    • Awareness of and ability to comply with health and safety legislation

    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

    • Excellent computer literacy
