Job description

We are currently partnering with a reputable not for profit organisation based East Coventry (near M6/M69 junction) who are looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Assistant on an initial 16 week contract.

The role is a part time position (20 hours pw) and is due to start as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Inputting invoices, expenses claims and credit notes into the purchase ledger

  • Maintaining purchase order processing in line with budget

  • Checking invoices and expenses claims ensuring goods have correct POs

  • Resolving any PO and payment queries

  • Preparing BACS payment runs

  • Reconciling the purchase ledger control account

  • Inputting new suppliers

Experience required:

  • Knowledge of the full purchase ledger process

  • Strong working experience of Excel

  • Confident working with internal stakeholders

  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
