Job description
We are proud to be partnering with a Local Authority based in Hertfordshire, who are looking to appoint a Property Services Manager on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Hertfordshire, with hybrid working (1/2 days home working) and a salary of £65,717 to £68,691 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have procuring, managing and delivering projects, with a value in excess of £5m, including devolved budgets and working on commercial stock.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Experience required:
- Experience in the preparation of drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities, schedules of rates, types of agreements, and tendering contracts
- Experience of procuring, managing and delivering projects, with a value in excess of £5m, including devolved budgets
- Contract dispute and resolution including various forms of contract
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Excellent programme/project management skills and commercial awareness
- Building legislation including Planning, Building regulations, CDM, Health & Safety Legislation and Party Wall Act
- A strong knowledge and demonstrable experience of the relevant EU procurement legislation

Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
