Job description

We are excited to be collaborating with a Housing Association to recruit for a Project Surveyor for a permanent position.

This is a full-time opportunity based in the East Midlands, offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will possess at least a HNC/HND qualification (or equivalent), have proven experience in project-related surveying, and hold a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering property investment and planned works programmes, with works including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, and roofing works

  • Working on retrofit projects, including insulation installations

  • Conducting contractor valuations and claims, including interim and final account payments

  • Managing the quality inspection process of works, including pre-start scoping, in-progress quality inspections, and post-inspection sign-offs

  • Working closely with Customer Liaison Officers to ensure a high level of customer experience and satisfaction

  • Accurately reviewing and updating stock data to develop future stock investment and planned work programmes

  • Managing works accurately through Keystone

Experience required:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in delivering stock investment / major works to social housing or private residential housing

  • Experience of managing suppliers through long term contracts which include JCT

  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer experience and satisfaction through stock investment works

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Knowledge of Quality Control systems

  • Excellent technical knowledge in all areas of domestic property maintenance

  • Advanced level Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Experience and use of Microsoft Project software

  • Experience and use of National Building Specification software

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
