Job description
We are excited to be collaborating with a Housing Association to recruit for a Project Surveyor for a permanent position.
This is a full-time opportunity based in the East Midlands, offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will possess at least a HNC/HND qualification (or equivalent), have proven experience in project-related surveying, and hold a full UK Driving License.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Delivering property investment and planned works programmes, with works including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, and roofing works
Working on retrofit projects, including insulation installations
Conducting contractor valuations and claims, including interim and final account payments
Managing the quality inspection process of works, including pre-start scoping, in-progress quality inspections, and post-inspection sign-offs
Working closely with Customer Liaison Officers to ensure a high level of customer experience and satisfaction
Accurately reviewing and updating stock data to develop future stock investment and planned work programmes
Managing works accurately through Keystone
Experience required:
A minimum of two years’ experience in delivering stock investment / major works to social housing or private residential housing
Experience of managing suppliers through long term contracts which include JCT
Proven track record of delivering excellent customer experience and satisfaction through stock investment works
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Knowledge of Quality Control systems
Excellent technical knowledge in all areas of domestic property maintenance
Advanced level Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience and use of Microsoft Project software
Experience and use of National Building Specification software
Working hours:
35 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
