Job description
We are currently working with a leading local employer based in Liverpool who is looking to appoint a Payroll Advisor on a 12-month FTC.
This is a full-time role (35 hours) with a hybrid working pattern, and the salary banding is £29,091 to £31,998)
Duties will include:
Working as part of a team processing payroll for 4,000 employees
Dealing with regulatory reports – P11d’s, P60’s, P45’s and pension reports
Responding to queries from the workforce on pay and pension issues
Handling the auto-pension enrollment process and ensuring compliance
Dealing with various 3rd party providers, as well as internal stakeholders and colleagues
Conducting monthly analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits and control accounts
Dealing with complaints and complex payroll queries
Supporting with the ongoing upgrading and testing of payroll systems
Ensuring all payroll data is recorded correctly and accurately
Experience / skills required:
Proven track record in dealing with large payrolls
Working knowledge of pensions
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
