Job description
We are currently partnering with a Housing Association in Middlesex, who are recruiting for an Operations Manager (Repairs) to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time position with a salary of £58,356, with the interview commencing the 16th December and start date subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Lead the responsive, planned repairs and Voids team’s performance through regular one to ones, coaching and reviews
Support the team to deliver a high-performing customer focused service
Complete Work in Progress inspections, ensuring regular visits are completed, prioritising those at higher risk or complexity
Ensure that all works are carried out in line with our contracts and legislation
Report on and analyse performance data in order to identify, develop and implement innovative and new ways of working that put our customers at the heart of our services, drive performance and achieve our corporate objectives
Make sure that relevant risk assessments are available and completed for tasks such as Working at Height, Electrical Gas, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health, and Manual Handling
Experience required:
Managing a team that delivers consistent high standards of customer service and successful outcomes on projects
Making wise decisions which efficiently solve issues
Confidence in using IT systems
Project Management and Development in order to provide quality service
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Team player, doing what it takes to progress the business
Effectively planning and prioritising by focusing on the things that will make the biggest difference
Communicate with passion and authenticity across different channels, while being able to adapt to situations and a diverse range of people (customers and colleagues)
