Job description

We are proud to be partnering with a leading Housing Association based in the West Midlands, who are looking to appoint a driven Neighbourhood Officer.

This will be a full-time position based in Worcestershire, on a 6-month fixed term contract.

The ideal candidate will hold a full UK Driving License and have access to a car. The company will carry out a basic DBS for the successful candidate.

The salary for this role is £32,325 - £35,917 per annum, which is pro rata’d across the 6 months.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for managing a patch of properties around Worcester

  • Complete sign ups, tenancy visits and estate management duties

  • Inform residents of their rights and responsibilities and the services available

  • Help with ASB cases and ensure all tenants are safeguarded properly

  • Carry out property inspections and conduct estate walkabouts

  • Complete fire alarms checks and keep diligent reports

  • Deal with tenant complaints appropriately and liaise with the appropriate department

  • General Tenancy Management duties

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Previous experience as a Housing or Neighborhood Officer

  • Ability to hit the ground running

  • Monday to Friday

  • 9:00am until 5:00pm (with some flexibility)
