Our client, based in Cheshunt, is currently recruiting for a Mental Health Support Worker on a 2-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is circa £20 per hour via Umbrella, negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have will be a self-motivated individual with a background working with vulnerable clients, ideally those who suffer ill mental health.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

·         Working with adults with ill mental health diagnosis, providing housing related support to promote independent living

·         Carrying out needs and risk assessments

·         Completing support plans and carrying out reviews

·         Managing medication, budgeting, daily living activities and tenancy management

·         Liaising with stakeholders and external agencies

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·         Good organisational and time management skills

·         Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working hours:

Monday – Friday, 9 – 5.30pm, 37.5 hours per week
