Our client, based in Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader on a five month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £25.00 per hour on a CIS basis.

The ideal candidate will have come from a trades background, have direct line management experience and have worked for a Social Housing provider before.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working within the repairs team within a Housing Association

• Leading a small team of three maintenance operatives

• Allocating works and completing 1:1 appraisal’s

• Attending site visits

• Completing work assessments and raising work for and overseeing contractors on site

• Managing and resolving complaints occurring from repairs works completed

• Carrying out a variety of planned and reactive building maintenance tasks (20-30%)

• Providing leadership and line management to the team

• Co-ordinating and overseeing workloads and providing support to ensure the team delivers

• Monitoring any issues and ensuring targets, KPI’s and quality standards are met

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Must of held a previous role within a trade based role

• Experience of direct line management

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30PM
