Our client, based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, is currently recruiting for an Income Officer on a 2 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing current rent accounts, attending court for rent arrears and also have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a patch of 800 properties across the Hertfordshire region

• Taking payments over the phone

• Monitoring tenants rent accounts and chase tenants rent arrears

• Attending evictions alongside the bailiffs

• Representing the organisation in court

• Serving NOSPs and NTQs

• Setting up payment plans

• Preparing court bundles

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

• Experience in representing a Housing Association in court

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Rent arrears

• Capita system

• Court bundles

• 35 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
