Our client, based in Harlow, is currently recruiting for a fully remote IDVA on a 2-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with interviews being held this week. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have an OCNLR Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Abuse as well as hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a caseload of 25, delivering high quality and responsive support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse
• Providing advocacy and appropriate interventions to support high risk victims of domestic abuse to access services with the aim of reducing their risk of harm, increasing their safety and aiding their long-term recovery
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with external partner agencies advocating on behalf of the service-user to meet their individual support needs
• Implementing safeguarding procedures and carrying out face-to-face support
• Dealing with referrals to MARAC and signposting clients onto other community-based services

Experience required:

• Experience working with victims of domestic abuse
• Experience using the Oasis system (desired)

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Understanding of risk, safety, and safeguarding
• Familiar with MARAC, Child Protection and muti-agency
