Job description
We are currently working in partnership with an Educational Institution based in Middlesex, who are recruiting for a HR Officer on a temporary to permanent contract. The position is due to start at the beginning of October, the hourly rate of pay is equivalent to the salary band of £31,907 - £32,795 per annum.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified and have previous experience working within an educational institution. As well as this the successful HR Officer will have extensive recruitment experience with expert knowledge surrounding employment law.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Supporting the HR function to deliver a high quality, professional HR service the organisations Managers and the HR Director with all aspects of Human Resources, Payroll, Recruitment, Training and Administration
Partnering effectively with recruiting managers to deliver customer focussed, proactive and highly efficient recruitment support, that promotes inclusion and co-production
Preparing job adverts in conjunction with the relevant job descriptions and person specifications and place in the most effective media for the role
Supporting SLT with interview preparations and ensure confirmation letters and interview packs are sent out in a timely manner
Overseeing the post appointment admin for successful candidates, including all necessary pre-employment checks in line with safer recruitment
Supporting the HR Director and/or line managers with informal and formal HR processes; taking notes during meetings
Experience required:
HR training or qualification such as CIPD Level 3 or similar level or training or practice experience or willing to work towards
Single Central Register experience
Experience working in a educational environment
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Knowledge of HR legislation
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient IT skills
Working hours:
36 hours per week
8am – 4pm Monday to Friday
