We are proud to be exclusively working with a HR and Payroll services provider who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor on a full-time permanent contract.

The role will be a home-based position, with occasional site visits across the Birmingham area and the salary banding is £35,000 - £40,000.

​

Daily duties will include:

• Providing a generalist HR advisory service to a number of clients across the Birmingham area, over the phone, virtually and in person

• Managing a varied ER caseload, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness, absence and performance management

• Carrying out end to end investigations, chairing meetings and attending mediations

• Supporting with restructures and the harmonisation of terms & conditions

• Preparing and issuing paperwork, including outcome letters, reports and document bundles

• Guiding on any legal issues and ensuring compliance with laws and legislations

• Handling any HR projects as and when required

Skills/experience required:

• Handling a varied ER caseload

• Conducting investigations

• Excellent working knowledge of employment laws and legislations

• Confident dealing with internal and external stakeholders of all levels

Package/benefits:

• £35,000 - £40,000

• £0.45 per mile expenses for site work

• 37 hours pw (flexible working pattern)

• 26 days hol + bank holidays
