Job description

We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning Charity with support services nationwide, who are looking to recruit a Hospital In-Reach Recovery Coordinator on a three-month temporary contract.

This will be a full-time position based in the West Midlands, with an hourly rate of £17.50 via an Umbrella Company. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the criminal justice sector with clients who are recovering from substance misuse.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey

  • Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral

  • Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community

  • Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determination

  • Tailoring specific workshops around the needs of the service users, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships etc

  • Delivering structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery

  • Providing advocacy for access to partnership services

Experience required:

  • Creating and implementing support and recovery plans

  • Conducting the recovery process from start to finish independently

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system

  • Be able to run group meetings to support clients

  • Up to date on all safeguarding protocols

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
