Job description
We are currently partnering with a college based in London, who are recruiting for a Group Legal & Company Secretarial Executive Assistant to join their growing team on a temporary basis.
This is a full-time position and the start date is as soon as possible.
Please note that you require an Enhanced DBS that is dated within the last three years to be considered for this role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Organise and coordinate LSEEG Group and committee meetings, including scheduling, collating papers, and sharing via Meeting Squared
Set meeting paper schedules, arrange hospitality and parking, and ensure timely circulation of documents
Draft and edit reports, letters, and internal communications; facilitate communication between the Clerk, Principal, and Senior Leaders
Assist with policy reviews, governance audits, inspections, and self-assessment planning
Maintain governance records, update websites, and manage Companies House and Edubase updates
Coordinate Governor recruitment, induction, training (including SCR/DBS checks), and attendance records. Keep Governors informed via newsletters and event updates
Maintain governance documentation on SharePoint, keep legal advice logs, manage ICO certificate renewals, and ensure compliance with Data Protection regulations
Undertake additional tasks as requested by management
Adhere to health and safety, risk management, and safeguarding policies
Promote and comply with the College’s Equality and Diversity policies
Experience required:
Microsoft Office packages, databases and web technologies
Substantial experience in a senior administrative position, including extensive diary management, committee servicing and information gathering
Drafting correspondence, producing reports and presentations for a variety of different audiences
Experience of note-taking of formal meetings and providing accurate minutes
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
The ability to operate with absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times
The ability to co-ordinate and manage projects and events
Working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday – Friday
