We have teamed up with a local council based in the East Midlands, who are looking to appoint a Gas Engineer/Plumber on a three month temporary contract. This will be a full-time position with the rate negotiable depending on experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Undertaking a range of service and maintenance works, repairing or replacing items to maintain properties to a high standard

• Producing gas safety certificates and ensuring all properties have up to date certification

• Conducting responsive and planned Plumbing works within tenanted properties

• Completing detailed work report and ordering required materials

• Carrying out servicing and repairs of boilers, cylinders and pumps

• Diagnose faults and rectify in a prompt and appropriate manner

Expertise required:

• Must be gas safe registered with CCN1 & CENWAT

• Have the relevant NVQ L2 qualification

• Ideally have worked within a social housing setting

Working hours:

• 37 hours

• Monday to Friday

• 8am – 4:30pm
