Job description
We are currently partnering with a Social Housing provider in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for twoElectrician’s to join their growing team on a three to six month temporary to permanent basis.
This is a full-time position with a rate of £27.00 per hour on a CIS basis, the role includes a van and fuel card. They are looking for somebody to start as soon as possible.
You must hold 18th edition, 2391 and ideally asbestos awareness and working at heights. You must also have a full UK driving license.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Responsible for carrying out high quality responsive repairs to the housing stock in accordance with customers’ requirements working on both occupied and empty homes as the need arises
Undertaking electrical testing and inspection, repairs and upgrades to the electrical installations within Social Housing properties
Using a hand held PDA for all jobs issued, keeping accurate and timely records of works
Liaising as necessary with other sections/trades to ensure implementation and completion of repairs and maintenance works
Using any tools, machinery, equipment or hazardous substances in accordance with information and instruction provided
Reporting any health and safety concerns or danger to line management as soon as practicable
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working with customers within housing

37 hours per week
Monday – Friday
No call out rota for temporary members of staff
