Job description

We are proud to be partnering with an ambitious Social Housing provider with plans to build 2000 homes over the next 10 years, who are looking to appoint a Development Project Manager.

This will be a full-time position based in Portishead, with an agile working policy and a salary of £43,982.00 per annum and a host of benefits.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with S106’s, Land-led sites and the full development journey.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Spearheading the Development journey including; Planning, Contract Negotiation, Risk Assessment and Financial Appraisal

  • Supporting the identification of new development opportunities through site finding, S106 bidding and working with our development team

  • Testing the viability and deliverability of opportunities by undertaking site visits, reviewing scheme documentation

  • Managing the journey of the Grant Claim process, and ensure records can withstand stringent audits#

  • Supporting the wider organisation with rent setting, forecasting, cashflow and audit/charging

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing

  • Experience in domestic development projects

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • To fully understand the development process from planning, contract negotiation, risk assessment to financial appraisal.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Strong level of financial literacy, commercial awareness and understanding of how to develop a risk management framework
