We are currently partnering with a reputable Somerset based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Development Officer to join their growing team on a contract of three months minimum.

This is a full-time position with a daily rate of £250 - £275 per day via an umbrella company and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Developing cases and project plans for new project inception relating to new build developments and large scale regenerations

• Ensuring projects are in a place for mobilisation within the next 12 months

• Negotiating with land owners and local authorities in relation to new build developments

• Processing projects through key milestones

• Ensuring effective programme and project management

• Assessing the viability of development schemes

• Preparing reports for development manager and senior management as required

Requirements:

• Recent experience working on new build development projects, ideally within a Social Housing setting

• Full UK driving licence
