Job description

​We are currently partnering with a Manchester based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Damp and Mould Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary up to £40,500 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Carrying out pre and post inspections for reactive maintenance in domestic properties, largely focused on damp and mould cases
  • Identifying types of damp and mould including rising damp and penetrating damp
  • Creating specifications of work for remedials, ensuring they are in line with the correct form of damp and mould
  • Completing surveys in line with HHSRS

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience in Damp and Mould
  • Understanding of different types of damp, mould and condensation
  • A Surveying based qualifications (HNC/ HND/ CSRT)

  • 36 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
