Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association who provides quality, affordable homes to thousands of people across the South of England.

They are recruiting for a Conveyancing Coordinator on a permanent contract to join their team. This will be a full-time position, with travel required across the region and a salary of £31,818 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have established experience in conveyancing and will have previously worked within property, housing or asset management.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting the team in the delivery of large volume disposals of void properties and land holdings via private treaty and auction, as well as acquisitions of properties through stock transfers and private treaty

  • Coordinating the internal conveyancing process from the approval stage through to post completion

  • Providing conveyancing and project support to the teams on disposals, acquisitions and strategic reviews and help to de-risk properties and land prior to disposal

  • Instructing and liaising with solicitors, agents, valuers and lenders in respect of a disposal and other consequential land matters which may include restrictions, easements, charges, sales of surplus land, deeds of variation, etc.

Experience required:

  • Experience working within a property law and conveyancing environment

  • Comprehensive understanding of the principle of title and property documentation and the conveyancing process

  • Social Housing experience is desirable

  • Driving licence essential

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
