Our client, based in Macclesfield, is currently recruiting for a Contracts Officer on a 2-month rolling temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is around the £24.00 per hour via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within Social Housing, assisting with ongoing maintenance contracts including roofing as well building maintenance contracts and be willing to commute to Macclesfield four times a week for initial part of the contract.

Please see below a list of the required duties:

• Assisting the Contract and Repairs Managers overseeing various contracts including a Roofing, Drainage and void Gas contracts

• Monitoring the KPIs of the contractors to ensure that specifications are being met, and raising any concerns directly with the contractor

• Processing invoices and raising POs following on from works

• Gathering information from different departments and customers to diagnose problems

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing
