Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Cambridgeshire, who are recruiting for a Contract’s Manager on a temporary six-to-nine-month basis. The position is due to start immediately. There are two days working from home available with this role. The daily rate of pay is up to £325 per day via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience of leading contracts within a social housing provider.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Scoping, delivering and contractually managing planned and responsive contracts across a social housing stock
Overseeing the delivery of programmes with external contractors
Ensuring that all on-site works are conducted within Compliance, Health & Safety legislation and regulations at all times
Addressing any short fallings on-site and actioned remedial work as appropriate
Carrying out pre-work inspections and overseeing works from inception to completion
Monitoring KPIs and contractor performance data to ensure the effective delivery of works
Arranging remedial works to be completed in line with any short fallings following inspection
Conducting site meetings and service review meetings with contractors, colleagues and senior stakeholders
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working with customers within housing
Experience of leading contracts
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Risk assessment and management
Compliance and due diligence
Working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday – Friday
