Job description

We are currently partnering with a reputable Social Housing Association in South Wales, who are recruiting for a Compliance Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £38,435 - £42,639 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a team of four Compliance Coordinators

  • Overseeing and ensuring the delivery of all landlord compliance functions (fire, asbestos, gas, electrics, legionella, lifts)

  • Ensuring that all required compliance checks/works are completed and recorded

  • Monitoring compliance data, KPIs and team performance to ensure the organization meets all compliance related regulations

  • Developing, implementing and delivering a quality assurance framework for all processes within the compliance team, ensuring that end to end processes are performing, accurate and evidenced

  • Ensuring that all relevant staff members have the appropriate level of training in compliance areas to meet the needs of their role and to support our customers

Requirements:

  • Experience required within property compliance

  • Proven technical skills/experience in one or more areas of the big 6 (pref for Electrical)

  • Strong management experience

  • Confidence with data, KPIs and performance reporting

  • NEBOSH or similar qualification desirable

  • Own car and full UK driving licence

  • 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays), increasing by one day per year up to 32 days

  • Pension: the organisation will contribute 2% more than you choose to pay in each

  • month (minimum contribution where you pay 4%, they pay 6%; maximum

  • contribution where you pay 6%, they pay 8%)

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, flexible start/finish times
