We are currently partnering with a Housing Association, with a Head Office in Hertfordshire, who are recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client is a charitable housing association, operating in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, aiming to help people who need support and care or who cannot afford to buy or rent a home at market values.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £55,401 and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Developing and maintaining systems to identify compliance requirements, performance against standards and track the performance of any remedial actions required
• Identifying evidence of the Association's compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across the business; monitoring and reporting on compliance
• Making recommendations on changes required to strengthen the Association's internal controls and approach to compliance and risk management
• Contributing towards the maintenance and development of the Association’s risk management systems and business assurance framework
• Conducting audits and provide compliance advice and support across all functions of the business
• Supporting compliance with Data Protection law through the provision of advice, logging and monitoring issues, and signing off Data Subject Access Requests

Experience required:

• Experience in Social Housing is highly desirable

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
