​We are currently partnering with a Local Authority based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Commercial Building Surveyor to join their growing team on a long term temporary basis.

This is a full-time position with a daily rate of circa £350 a day on an Umbrella basis and the start date will be early March.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out surveys on commercial dwellings including: schools, leisure centres and swimming baths

• Acting as the first point of contact for all contractor queries, and ensure the health of the contracts is sustained

• Completing post inspections following works, flagging any discrepancies in line with pre-agreed specifications

• Monitoring budgets, ensuring that all works remain in adherence with allotted amounts

Experience required:

• Experience required completing works on commercial dwelling

• Experience carrying out inspections post sub-contractor works

• Experience within contract administration and acting as the contracts focal point

• Experience working in adherence to government regulations

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• RICS would be desired

• HNC/HND Required
