Job description

​We are proud to be working with a reputable charity who are looking to appoint an Accessibility Lead to help drive their EDI strategy in developing an inclusive and accessible culture for its employees.

Both part time and full-time candidates can be considered for this hybrid role, and the salary is £38,864.

Duties will include:

  • Driving awareness of accessibility across the business, promoting inclusive practices and implementing processes

  • Developing policies and guidance to promote an inclusive workplace

  • Delivering training programmes for employees and managers and disability awareness

  • Working with relevant teams to delivery the accessibility action plan, including HR, recruitment, IT and communications

  • Advising managers and individuals on the Access to Work process

  • Creating reports on accessibility and reporting to the Head of EDI

  • Working with the HR and Recruitment teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process

  • Supporting with providing reasonable adjustments for employees

Skills / knowledge required:

  • Experience in leading disability, inclusion and accessibility initiatives

  • Passion for inclusion

  • Strong understanding of disability rights

  • Confident dealing with stakeholders of all levels

  • Committed to developing an inclusive workforce
