Job description
We are currently partnering with an Essex based Council, who are recruiting for a Technical Support Officer to join their growing team on a Temporary basis until March 2025.
This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of £15.21 via PAYE, with the role offering two days working from home!
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Provide general administrative support to Housing Operations (Property) in relation to Fire Risk Assessments, other Compliance areas and stock condition data
- Input data into the Councils’ dedicated fire risk action management system and asset management system
- Process requests, order and send invoices for payment using appropriate systems for all stationery and equipment. Make and process requests for equipment as appropriate
- Undertake analysis of tasks and allocate to the correct team for action
- Provide support to the Housing Operations Services and all Housing Service Sections as required
- Provide cross-team support for the management of FRA actions and updating of stock condition and servicing data
Experience required:
- To undertake other duties commensurate with the grade, skills, knowledge and experience of the post holder
- Experience within a similar role previously
- To assist in collating and providing compliance information and certificates as may be required by FRA Assessors and/or Essex Fire and Rescue Service and others
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
