Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a leading UK charity, who are looking to appoint a Support Team Leader on a 5-month interim basis.

This will be a full-time position based in Bristol, supporting client groups with complex needs and offering an hourly rate up to £24.00 per hour via an umbrella company

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Using resources effectively and coordinating the day-to-day work of the team, delegating tasks and monitoring outcomes

  • Auditing client records of compliance, safeguarding and quality assurance

  • Providing coaching, seeking feedback and work with the team to deliver resolutions

  • Supporting the manager to encourage self-direction and stimulating and managing risk taking, meet the data information, and reporting requirements of the team

  • Working with other services, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance outcomes and help to integrate people-focusing support in communities

  • Demonstrating readiness to make an immediate impact by quickly adapting to and engaging with projects

  • Coordinating and driving full team collaboration to ensure high-quality service delivery and seamless teamwork

  • Identifying and leading solution-oriented strategies to effectively addressing challenges and drive positive results

  • Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

    • Ability to lead and manage people to achieve a positive culture and be a role model in all aspects of people leadership especially performance

    • Ability to challenge poor practice and behaviour

    • Ability to undertake assessment, support planning, recording and report writing

    • Manage time and resources effectively and efficiently

    • Ability to respond professionally, quickly, and flexibly in a crisis

    • Ability to lead and manage change

    Working hours:

    • 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm
