Job description
We are currently representing a reputable and growing firm within professional services who are looking to appoint a Reward and Benefits Assistant on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a new role within the business, and will be responsible for providing efficient support to the Reward and Benefits Manager throughout the annual reward and reporting processes, including salary/bonus reviews, promotions, gender pay reporting, benefits renewals.
The role can be based out of their Worcester, Cheltenham, Birmingham or Cardiff offices, and can pay up to £27.5k (DOE).
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Supporting with key compensation processes such as bonus, promotions and annual salary reviews
Actively managing responses to Reward & Benefits queries from employees, HR colleagues and managers
Developing and maintaining Salary Benchmarking data and Salary Models to help provide insights ahead of the pay reviews
Ensuring communications and materials on benefits are clear and up to date
Arranging annual pensions and benefits clinics (e.g. webinars, comms and workshops)
Administering updates of employee data to suppliers for annual renewals (PMI, Income Protection, Life Assurance)
Provide data and statistics as required to support HR colleagues as well as other internal functions, such as Finance/Payroll
Interpreting employee data to identify significant differences, relationships, and trends in data
Skills required:
Well organised, articulate, numerate and commercial
Analytical approach to problem solving
Inquisitive and curious - a desire to want to understand what the data is illustrating and why
Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with colleagues, senior managers, stakeholders and suppliers is key
Detail-oriented
Experience of extraction / analysis of large data sets
Advanced/expert excel skills – able to use sophisticated pivot tables and other visuals to help interpret and display data analysis in a clear and meaningful way
Strength in numeracy, analysis and problem solving
