Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Higher Educational Body based in South London, who are recruiting for a Resourcing Advisor on a permanent contract. The position is due to start immediately. The annual salary for this role is £40,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have extensive recruitment experience having the ability to coach and advise on the full 360 recruitment cycle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Guiding managers on standard practice for recruitment and advising on the 360 model
- Demonstrating a keen understanding of Safer Recruitment practices and ensure that these are applied throughout the recruitment and selection process
- Working with the Resourcing Partner to provide comprehensive, specialist recruitment advice to managers across the organisation
- Coaching managers in the use of effective selection criteria at both application and interview stage, ensuring that they comply with employment law and recruitment best practice
- Ensuring that all relevant information (job description, job evaluation, grade, selection criteria, advert copy) has been checked prior to handing over roles to our People & Culture Administrators for shortlist/interview processing
- Advising managers post-interview to ensure compliance with agreed appointment processes including starting salary, highlighting any potential issues with right to work in the UK requirements for candidates
Experience required:
- Teaching staff on how to use a 360 recruitment model
- Assisting on campaigns when required in times of high traffic
- Whilst committing to the team objectives, demonstrate personal accountability for delivery of personal actions
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Strong interpersonal / teamwork skills with an ability to facilitate and coach others
- Great attention to detail, ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good level of IT literacy and able to use iTrent
